An update for those who read the above response and request to Mrs. Douglass. I commented here and also emailed her privately. As of two months later, I've never received any communication back from her.

Mrs. Douglass,

I would encourage you to check out this manuscript directly from Library of Congress or lets us know and we will gladly mail you a personal copy of the manuscript.

If you can give a link for me and others to download the document, I'd love to check out out. If this isn't possible, please confirm, and I'll contact you separately for a postal mailing.

Please realize that if you do this, you're exposing the document to critical critique and scientific examination. I'm letting you know now that based on what you've said already, your contribution here, while honestly appreciated, my not hold up to that analysis. But I'm willing to set aside the preconceived notion, and examine the document on its own facts and merits.

My husband is retired but a graduate of KU with a double major in Geology and Physics receiving a Geophysics Assistantship-Scholarship at California Insititute of Technology. His specialty is "research" He has an unpublished manuscript in Library of Congress on "Genesis and Geology-The Whole Story." You can read it directly if you choose by contacting Library of Congress. What Lee calls Intelligent Design is scientific evidence-in the area of astronomy of Genesis' exact order of creation. It is amazing. Science verifies this order. Science and Intelligent Design agree. Let me say that he researched what is called 'Creationism" and read their literature. Other than establishing the 7 day week it fails the scientific test. So Lee does not back creationism nor does he seek to get it in the classroom. Intelligent design needs to be allowed in the classroom for it is based on scientific fact-not even theory. Academic freedom is important-and evolutionists deny this freedom and in fact have had fired scientists who are teaching or at least presenting the option to their students of researching: Intelligent Design. This makes such a stance "No intelligence allowed." Intelligent Design belongs in science classes not in religion classes. Thanks for listening. I would encourage you to check out this manuscript directly from Library of Congress or lets us know and we will gladly mail you a personal copy of the manuscript. It consists of 40 pages-the last few pages is a chart. Sincerely: Mrs. Lee S. Douglass
