Digital Bits Skeptic site improvements – Facebook and site redesign

2008 October 2

Hi everyone,

Andy Kaiser here. I wanted to update you on a couple of positive changes to the Digital Bits Skeptic site:

1) FACEBOOK

The DBS Facebook page has just been created. For those into the communication-overloaded world of social networking, use this page to keep track of DBS changes, updates and new article publications, and have a chance to meet and talk with like minds. You can find DBS on Facebook by searching for “Digital Bits Skeptic”, or here’s the direct link:

2) REDESIGN

The Digital Bits Skeptic website has been redesigned. I’ve worked with a few people to bring about these changes, getting their advice on functional and visual improvements. I’ve taken a lot of effort to make the goals of the site clearer, and smooth out any confusion in navigating the site itself. Please check it out and let me know what you think. If you like it, great. If you don’t, that’s okay – you can’t please everyone – but if you do have problems or suggestions I’d still like a change to address them. The website address is the same as before:

Special thanks to Rob for going out of his way to help make this happen.

It was my pleasure Andy. It was interesting to try and explain Facebook to someone who had never used it before, and it also made me realize just how complicated it can actually be!

I’ve already told you this, but great work on the redesign. The colors are nice, the layout is nice, everything is nice :)
